California Trip Part Two

We went up to Mt. Baldy on July 4th that was just up the mountain from Lindsey & Nathan's

We had the best time ever and can't wait to do it again!!!

California Here We Come

We had the BEST TIME in California!  Here's the proof -

We had a great time at the beach, movies, eating out, and at Raging Waters! Part 2 of pictures coming next.

The Beach

So we just got back from the beach... it was wonderful! So relaxing. We also like shopping at the outlet and eating seafood.

We had an awesome sunset when we got home -

Also driving around the circle we saw this billboard. Bet you don't have one like it where you live.

Last but not least - I finally don't have to wear my brace while awake - Wahooooo! I still have to wear it while I exercise or activities but at least not all the time.

We're flying!

We went with the YSA to Deep Run Zipline and went on it 4 times! The hardest part for me was climbing the 5 flights of stairs. I was so proud of Dave for doing it!

I love to ski

After having surgery two weeks ago today for my 3rd torn ACL, I am beginning to think that I am not as invincible as I thought. Granted all these knee injuries are from skiing, but this last one wasn't my fault - being hit from behind by a crazy snowboarder. I like the challenge of getting back to normal, but I just wish I could sleep better at night. I don't really notice the pain during the day - only when I try to sleep. AGH!?!

This is what my knee looked like after a week. Soo pretty!

This is two weeks out and I just took off the steri strips.  It was a little bigger than what I have had before because they tried to use the same screw holes.  One was successful, the other not as much and they had to use an additional
overriding screw.

Here is to next year on the slopes!!!
